I've been on the internet for quite some time. You could say I grew up on old DeviantART and Transformice/Atelier801 forums. I'm not a fan of the current state of the internet. Algorithms deciding what's best for you, content created and generated purely for clicks and monetary gain, the overwhelming amount of ads, limited access to customization even for personal proflies... Not to mention how we're expected to react to everything instantly. I'd be lying if I said I don't find social media convenient. But sometimes I do get mad at myself for how reliant I'm on them. This website is an attempt to fight that. I'm in no way an expert at coding. Hell, I don't even wish to be one! My goal is to create a space that will allow me to share and connect with other people on my own terms.
Błyszczopies means sparkledog in Polish. Coined by my best friend & flatmate Hania Piwko-Tesco while drunk. She doesn't remember that, so I guess I got the full custody over that word now. Here you can learn what sparkledogs are called in different languages!
